The official religion in Dubai is, of course, Islam. Dubai is considered to be the most tolerant place for other religions followers (with the exception of Judaism) in the whole Middle East.



But in order to show your respect to Islam, you have to keep in mind some rules:

• Don’t drink alcohol in public places.
• Avoid walking in front of someone who is praying at that moment.
• Women are to wear conservative, closed clothes.
• You are to be moderate, trying not to show too much devotion or love in public.

Being a visitor in the holy month of Ramadan, you should also follow the special rules that come into effect at that time. It is the month of fasting, when Muslims withdraw from drinking, eating and sexual relations for the day until sunset.
