Jumeirah Mosque with its majestic dome and two minarets is the most beautiful cult building not only in Dubai, but in the whole Emirates. Mosque was built of pink sandstone in 1979 and located at the beginning of Jumeirah Beach Road in Jumeirah district. It resembles Cairo mosque style of XIV – XV centuries.
It’s only mosque, the entrance to which is available not only to Muslims. By UAE laws it is strictly prohibited to visit mosques if you are not a Muslim. Visiting of Jumeirah Mosque is possible in the morning on Thursdays and Sundays. Group of tourists are strictly limited. Sightseeing is organized by The Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding. The tour explains the process of communicating with God and the inner content of a Muslim prayer.
