The waters of the Persian Gulf interest divers from the whole world. Diving available from the shore as well as from the boat. The local dive clubs offer a basic training course with the instructor which will give you the first stage “open water” document confirming the right to dive with an instructor (course cost aproximatly from 1200 to 1600 dirhams that equals from 380 to 450 USD). Dive clubs provide a complete range of services for divers (you can rent any diving equipment). Diving clubs instructors should have an international standard certification (PADI etc.), as well as personal book of diving accounting (Diver log book).
The divers in Dubai can enjoy several coral reefs and sunken ships. With favorable conditions, visibility is 5-20 meters.
Excellent visibility under the water, absence of dangerous undercurrents, and rich underwater world amazes even experienced divers. Fish and marine animals are not afraid of man. NOTICE
Do not forget that your last dive, regardless of its depth and duration, you must complete in 48 hours prior to flight departure, otherwise your holiday may end in the best case, in the pressure chamber, otherwise you risk your health and possibly life. As in other countries, in Dubai rise of living corals and trophies from the sunken ships is prohibited and punishable by law.

Scuba Arabia is a club where you can get a training of “technical diving” program. The club has one of the best in Dubai equipment shops. Here, you also can repair your equipment. There are regular dhow boat trips to the Musandam Peninsula area.
