The mosque of Burj Khalifa has arisen higher than any other sanctuary in the world.
The Al Bayan newspaper, with reference to some sources in Emaar company, mentions that the mosque is situated in the world’s highest structure at the height of about 600 meters.
The mosque rooms the area in a 160-storey skyscraper, where more that a thousand people will live.
According to its position in the sky the Islamic house of worship of Burj Khalifa has exceeded the previous record holder among the highest mosques in the world by more that three times — mosque in Saudi Arabia, which rooms the 77-th floor at the height of 180 metres in Riyadh,— writes Al Bayan.
