Visa
You can collect your visa before entering the UAE at the special desks located just before the escalators that take you to Passport Control.
Regulations for visa application:
Visa photo should be in color. (no Polaroid photographs)
If you are in UAE already, you cannot get another entry permit until you leave UAE.

Passport Control
Show your passport or travel document and U.A.E. visa at the Passport Control desk. If your visa has been issued in Dubai, there is no need to fill in an embarkation card. Also Dubai International Airport offers e-gates for faster processing of immigration formalities.
Citizens of following 33 countries are exempt from visa application:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City.
Luggage Services
Your luggage will be tagged by special Baggage Reconciliation System which tracks each piece of luggage. All luggage will be passed through bar-code scanners, so the system will store all information about the location of the luggage, making retrieval much faster.
Duty Free Shops
Duty free shops in the Baggage Hall is ideal places to buy the last-minute present or to buy different products: cigarettes, cosmetics, alcohol, perfumes etc.

Duty Free Concessions:
At the Arrivals Hall you can also rent a car. Available about a dozen of car rental companies. Some of them can offer you a specialized limousine service as well.
Hotel Reservations
At the Central Reservations Center in the Arrivals Hall you can book hotel or tour package you want.
Tourist Information
There is The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing desk in the Arrivals Hall that will provide you with advice, recommendations, city maps, information on sightseeing tours etc.
Currency Exchange
You can convert your cash to Dirhams at the currency exchange outlets in the Arrivals Hall.
Airport Transport
Outside Terminals 1, 2 and 3 you can take a taxis available 24 hours a day.
Between the terminals runs the airport shuttle bus, also outside the each terminal you can find city bus service stops.
Special
Dubai International Airport Buses provides the buses, serve the most popular corridors in the city center with over 80 hotels and furnished apartments.
