Buses in Dubai is a simple, fast and inexpensive way to see the whole of Dubai. Many tourists visiting Dubai, do not realize how convenient it is to take a bus and drive around Dubai.



Bus system

Dubai is a city with a very large bus system that has about 60 bus routes and transports about 150 000 of people per day. Bus service is focused on movement between the main outlets of the city. Public transport in Dubai available from 6 am until 11 pm. Route map can usually be found at bus stations. In Ramadan timetable of buses varies. Traveling the bus is very cheap. Bus tickets can be purchased at the bus station or in the bus and their value ranges from 1 to 3 Dhs depends on the destination. From October 24, 2006 in Dubai appeared night buses plying on the five routes, covering the main areas of the city from 23.30 pm until 06.00 am. Fare — 3 AED (0,8 US $). International buses

Also, there are bus routes to a number of countries: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt.
