The Dubai Metro, like everything else in Dubai, is full of the latest technologies. It was designed as a fully automated (driverless) network and was opened 9 September 2009. The air inside the stations, crossings and trains, will be air-conditioned and maintained at 20 ° C. Stations and crossings are equipped with escalators and a treadmills.
