The most preferred transport in Dubai is a taxi, which can be stopped on the street. It will cost a bit cheaper than when you taking a taxi on the parking lot near the hotel. In Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah taxis equipped with taximeters.
The fare to Dubai is 1.25 AED per km plus 3 AED (after 22.00 – 3,5 AED) for the boarding. Approximately, a usual trip in the city limits will cost you 15-25 AED. Keep in mind that the price of a taxi depends not only on distances, but also the number of traffic jams. Typically, a taxi stand at the hotel or can be called for you by a concierge.
